5.5 magnitude earthquake hit off the South Korea’s southern coast

SEOUL: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit off the South Korea’s southern coast, South Korea media reported.
The earthquake was detected about 4 miles north of the southeastern port city of Pohang, Yonhap, a news agency said.
Residents on the capital Seoul, more than 300 kilometres away, felt tremors and reported their buildings have been shaken.
