The 69th death anniversary of Founder of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed with solemn remembrance and heart-felt gratitude today.
We lost our leader this day in 1948 shortly after achieving Independence for our nation.
Special seminars and ceremonies are being held across the country to pay homage to the father of the nation for rendering valuable services for the Muslims of the sub-continent.
Quran Khawani and Fateha was held at the tomb of Quaid-e-Azam, while people of various walks of life will visit the mausoleum to lay floral wreath and offer Fateha.
He worked hard for bringing Pakistan on the world map. He was first Pakistan’s Governor-General until his death. Jinnah had led from the front and got homeland for Pakistanis.
On this occasion, in their messages President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have stressed for continuing efforts to make Pakistan a cradle of freedom, dignity and honor as was envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam.
