A chartered plane crashed in Mumbai, killed five people

Five people have died after a 12 seater chartered plane crashed in an under construction building at Sarvodaya Nagar area of Ghatkopar (West) in Mumbai on Thursday.

The pilot, two engineers, a technician on board of the ill-fated plane and a pedestrian died in the crash, said aviation regulator DGCA in a statement. Their bodies were charred.

According to the Indian media, the chartered plane was owned by state Uttar Pradesh. The parts of the plane showed a logo of Uttar Pradesh government.
