ISLAMABAD: Ousted prime minister and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif on Friday said a meeting of his party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) has been called to discuss the launch of a probe against him for allegedly sending $4.9 billion to India. 

Speaking to reporters at the accountability court in Islamabad, he said the CEC meeting will discuss the charges leveled against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Sharif said this is a serious matter and that the PML-N has taken it seriously. How more serious circumstances will be that the present ones, he asked.

He said those who are behind this all will have to find a way out.
