After the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants over Qandeel Baloch murder case, Abdul Qavi has on Tuesday appeared before a judicial magistrate
Abdul Qavi appeared without a lawyer before the Sessions judge Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad on Tuesday.
The court ordered him to appear before the court on Wednesday again with legal representation after court adjourned the hearing until tomorrow.
While talking to the media, after his appearance, he said that he has presented himself before the court voluntarily, and I’ll accept whatever would be the decision of the court.
On 13 October, the court has issued the non-bailable arrest warrants of Abdul Qavi over the murder of Pakistani Model Qandeel Baloch.
Qavi, who was heavily censored for clicking ‘selfie’ photographs with slain social media celebrity Qandeel, has been investigated in connection with her murder.
The cleric has repeatedly denied any involvement in Qandeel’s murder but had stated that he would present himself to the police for questioning upon being summoned.
