KARACHI: A local Accountability Court of Karachi has charge-sheeted former Inspector General of Sindh police Ghulam Hayder Jamali and seven other accused in a corruption case on Monday.
This is being dubbed as the most important corruption case in the history of Sindh police.
The accused pleaded not guilty after the court indicted them. On this, the court summoned the witnesses on November 8.
The accused have been charged with 881 illegal appointments in SRP Hyderabad that caused a heavy blow worth Rs.500 million to the national exchequer, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) said.
