ISLAMABAD: Academic activities resumed in Islamabad’s Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) after a period of five days, Samaa reported.
It should be noted that educational activities were suspended after violent clashes between student groups.
Scores of students were wounded when a fight broke out between two groups of Sindhi and Balochistan students at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad.
Rangers and police were called in to restore calm in the capital’s varsity after the violent clash.
According to police, an exchange of fire also took place between the two groups, which had already clashed at the university premises last month over a minor issue.
During the clash, which started around 12 pm, the rival students used clubs, punches and stones against each other.
