Accountability Court ordered to auction Ishaq Dar’s assets

The Accountability Court on Tuesday had allowed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to auction the assets owned by former Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar.

Granting to the details, after hearing the arguments, the decision had been taken by the Accountability Court, based on the NAB’s application regarding the auction of the former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s property, which has been announced by the Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir at 9 am this morning.

The accused, Ishaq Dar had one house and four plots in Lahore; four plots three Land Cruiser two Mercedes and one Corolla car in Islamabad; and three flats and a Mercedes in Dubai which NAB had asked for sale permission.

Ishaq Dar and his wife’s account in Islamabad had been frozen. He also invested 3.453 million dollars in Hajwari Company.

It should be clear that the National Accountability Bureau had blocked the passport of Ishaq Dar involved in property references and also released the red warrant for the arrestment from London via Interpol to bring him back home.

NAB has filed the case in Accountability Court against Ishaq Dar, in which he has been declared abusive, for having assets more than his income.
