An important verdict on Mashal Khan murder case will be announced in Central Jail in Haripur today (Wednesday).

Suspect Imran, who confessed to firing, along with other 56 accused are in police custody while three culprits including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) former councilor are still not arrested.

Earlier, Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) had indicted 57 suspects involved in Mashal Khan murder case during the hearing, The suspects denied all allegations leveled against them.

Mashal Khan, who was a mass communication student at Mardan’s Abdul Wali Khan University, was lynched to death by a mob of angry students over rumors that he and his friends committed blasphemy.
