An opener of Bangladesh Cricket Team Tamim Iqbal will not play the Friday’s second test match against South Africa in Bloemfontein due to injury, officials said on Wednesday.

He is currently suffering from a thigh muscle injury and could be out for a match, it would be very dangerous for him to participate and play three One Day International and two Test Match series against South Africa.

Tamim Iqbal will be staying in South Africa with his squad until the muscle injury has been recovered.

Another leading batsman of Bangladesh Cricket Team Shakib Al Hassan has already asked to skip this tour to rest because of exhaustion.
