Bars requested Chief Justice to take action against allegations leveled by Justice Siddiqui

The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) and the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) have condemned and criticized the allegations on Pakistan’s Judiciary leveled by the Islamabad High Court’s Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui.

According to the detail, the bars have urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take strict action against the Islamabad High Court’s judge and they termed the allegations as a conspiracy against the country’s judiciary and country’s most powerful intelligence agency.

The representative of the bars said that the allegations by the Islamabad High Court judge were the interference in the judicial process and the contempt of court.

“The Islamabad High Court judge, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has tried to malign the key institutions of the country,” he added.

While criticizing the judge’s allegations, the bars have demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar to take strict actions against the IHC’s judge.
