Bilawal Bhutto-led convoy for democracy called “Caravan-i-Jamhooriat” reached Punjab’s city Kasur from the capital of Punjab Lahore on the late night of Thursday.
A massive crowd of Pakistan People’s Party’s workers was present to welcome their leader Bilawal Bhutto on his arrival in Kasur. After reaching in Kasur, chairman PPP paid a visit to the Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah’s shrine and offered a Fateha.
While addressing the PPP’s workers, Mr. Bilawal said that so-called political parties of Punjab have made Punjab’s politics a “hostage”.
Bilawal said that roots of his party still exists in Punjab and vowed to complete the mission of his late mother Benazir Bhutto.
In the earlier statement, in Chiniot, Bilawal said that he and his democratic party only believes in serving the masses of Pakistan instead of “Showbazi and U-turns”.
Pakistan People’s Party has potential to end the political and ideological crisis in Punjab, he added.
