Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said on Wednesday that he (Shahbaz Sharif) was not able to visit NA-120 during the by-poll elections because was busy to resolve the issues people are facing including power outages.
The chief minister Shahbaz Sharif was addressing a workers’ convention of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) at AlHamra Art center.
He said, that the entire country was focused on NA-120 by-poll elections on September 17 and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has once again won the seat of National Assembly (NA) from NA-120.
People of Pakistan were facing 18-hour-long electricity load shedding before PML-N assumed the federal power in 2013. Now people are relieved of long hours load shedding today, only because of the efforts put up by the Federal government as well as provincial government.
Shahbaz Sharif also congratulated Pervez Malik and his team over the victory in NA-120 by-poll elections.
While talking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan he said, he was enjoying his stay in the mountains, when Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was suffered by dengue crisis. He asked Imran Khan that how many Mega Watts of electricity does Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s government has produced yet.
While talking about Khatm-e-Naboowat clause in Electoral Reforms Bill 2017, Shahbaz Sharif said that Party President Nawaz Sharif took an immediate action regarding the amendments and the official which will be found responsible for the change of the word would be expelled from the federal cabinet.
