Accountability court on Tuesday has resumed hearing of Avenfield reference against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.

During the hearing headed by Justice Muhammad Bashir, Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar is recording his statement. Lawyer Amjad Pervez said that his client Safdar sometimes understands the questions from him and also fights on some queries.

Talking to media, Captain Safdar said that Joint Investigation Team (JIT) tried to make him approver after asking complicated questions.

Responding to a question, he said that Maryam Nawaz is with him from past 25 years but her father needs her more at this time.
