Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has urged the caretaker government of Pakistan to take immediate security measures to protect the politicians and the voters and ensure a peaceful environment for the upcoming general elections in the country.
Mr. Shujaat added that it is the caretaker government’s duty to ensure the security of politicians and voters during the general elections. The caretaker government is duty bound to tackle the terrorism to provide a peaceful environment for the elections.

He said that in the past few days, the terrorists have targeted the ongoing political campaigns of various political parties across the country and over 200 people of Pakistan have lost their lives in the attacks.
PML-Q leader has also condemned the recent suicide attacks in Peshawar and Mastung in which Haroon Bilour and Siraj Raisani were martyred along with their party workers.
He also urged the voters of Pakistan to elect the candidates in the elections who are patriotic, honest, trustworthy and eligible to run the state.
