Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Monday announced to establish a committee to raise education standard in the country.

According to Dunya News, the decision to this effect was made during a meeting on education reforms at the Supreme Court of Pakistan. CJP Nisar presided over a meeting, which was attended by Federal Ombudsman Tahir Shahbaz, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, CADD secretary and federal and provincial education secretaries.

Addressing the meeting, the chief justice said that education is a constitutional right of every citizen under the Article 25(A) of the constitution and vowed to take every step to raise the quality of education in the country.
