Christian community across the world is celebrating Christmas today

ISLAMABAD: Christian community across the world is celebrating Christmas today to mark the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (A.S).

Special services will be held in Churches across the country to celebrate the festival.

Congratulating the Christian community on the Christmas day, President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in their separate messages have appreciated the sincere efforts of the Christian community for the socio-economic development of Pakistan.

The President said this is a day to reiterate universal teachings of patience, tolerance, kindness, and goodwill for the whole mankind.

He said Constitution of Pakistan guarantees equal rights for all minority communities and the Government is fulfilling its constitutional and moral responsibilities in this regard.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in his felicitation message said that Jesus Christ (AS) brought and preached the message of peace, brotherhood, and love for the whole humanity.
