CJP set petitions challenging “Electoral Reforms Act” for hearing, rejected all objections

The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has on Wednesday rejected all the objections of the Registrar Office against Electoral Reforms Act 2017 and ordered to set the petitions for hearing

Nine applicants including Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed and Member National Assembly Jamshed Dasti had challenged the Registrar Office’s decision of rejecting the petitions challenging the Electoral Reforms Act 2017.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the petitions.
