CM Punjab Usman Buzdar used official helicopter for personal Pakpattan visit

The newly-elected Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar reached Pakpattan while using a government’s official helicopter to pay a visit to the shrine of Baba Fareed in Pakpattan.

It seems that the Cheif Minister of Punjab has forgotten his claims of austerity as he along with his family used official copter all the way to Pakpattan to pay a visit to the shrine.

As per the reports, the tight security arrangements were also made by the security officials in Pakpattan during the Chief Minister’s visit.

The local residents of the area were barred from entering the shrine due to Chief Minister’s visit while the markets and shops in the specific area were also closed on the occasion.

On the other hand, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan said that Chief Minister’s use of helicopter comes under privileges.

Talking to Dunya News, he said that no one was dragged out of the shrine of Baba Fareed. He also ordered to launch inquiry into closure of shops during Buzdar’s visit.
