To convince disgruntled members, MQM-P summoned an emergency meeting

In a bid to convince disgruntled members of the party, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has summoned an emergency meeting today (Thursday).

The meeting will be held at 5:00 pm in Karachi.

Several party members expressed resentment after the Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Mustafa Kamal announced to forge a joint political alliance and also decided to contest the next general election under a single banner, manifesto, and symbol.

In the wake of MQM-P and PSP alliance, several MQM-P leaders met ex-President Asif Ali Zardari for probable inclusion in the PPP.

MQM-P lawmakers Salman Mujahid and Dr. Fauzia Hameed arrived at Islamabad’s Zardari House on Wednesday where the two discussed political matters with the PPP Co-chairman.
