A Lahore High Court election tribunal on Friday penalized PML-N MNA Muhammad Hamid Hameed for dragging his feet to submit his response on a petition challenging his victory from Sargodha’s NA-90. 

The tribunal was hearing the petition filed by Nadia Aziz who challenged his election from the National Assembly constituency (Sargodha-III).

It directed the lawmaker belonging to the opposition Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to deposit Rs10,000 fine into dams’ funds over his failure to file his response despite its directions.
