ISLAMABAD: A delegation of five Pakistani students would leave for Malaysia on August 19 to participate in the Asian Science Camp (ASC-2017).
The camp will be held from August 20-27 at University of Tunku, Abdul Rehman (Kampar Campus), Malaysia, an official of Pakistan Science Foundation said.
Asian Science Camp is a one week student event held annually in any country of the Asia every year which attracts thousands of the Asian leading young scientists aged 16-21 years old from 48 participating countries.
ASC is an annual event that aims to enlighten science-talented youths through discussions and dialogues with top scholars and technologists in the world and to promote the international friendship and cooperation among the best young students of the next generation in Asia.
Asian Science Camp 2017 (ASC 2017) is the eleventh of the series.
Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) sponsored participation of Pakistani young scientists with the objective to give a greater insight into science and its application for the benefit of all mankind through participation in ASC activities including lectures/demonstrations from leading scientists, visits to industrial sites, research centers, scientific institutions/organizations, world class laboratories and universities.
The students will share their ideas and projects with fellow students around the world and eminent scientists/Nobel Laureates.
