All the winning candidates of the general elections have been directed by the Election Commission to submit the detail of their election expenses quickly.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has asked the winner candidates to submit the expenses details to the relevant Returning Officer (RO). As per the details, not a single candidate has submitted the expenses detail to the Election Commission yet.

The Election Commission has directed all the Returning Officers to fill out the Form C and send the detail of election spending of all winner candidates with the 10 days of the elections.

On the other hand, the non-successful candidates are allowed to submit their election expenses detail within the 30 days of general elections.

The detail which is supposed to be submitted to the ECP would include a bank account statement used for the elections spending, receipt of all spending incurred, and a copy each of the material which was printed for election campaigns along with the name and contact details of the publisher.

The Returning Officers will issue a show-cause notice to the winning candidates who fail to submit the required details.
