Exclusive: At least 20 people were injured in Peshawar’s ring road blast

At least 20 people were injured in Peshawar when a bomb ripped through Peshawar’s Ring Road area on Friday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, 15 of those injured were treated on the spot while five were shifted to a nearby hospital. The explosion occurred near MMC hospital.

According to the Rescue officials, 15 injured were treated on the spot and other 5 were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.

Two of the injured claimed they saw someone throw a hand grenade at them, Rescue 1122 spokesperson told The Express Tribune.

The nature of the blast has not determined as yet. Police are still trying to investigate the matter.
