Fazalur Rehman to hold All Parties’ Conference to discuss alleged rigging in elections

Chief of his own faction of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday said he will host an All Parties’ Conference to discuss alleged rigging in elections.

Talking to reporters, Fazl said his party rejects election results, saying he has discussed the situation with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif.

Earlier, former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed of massive rigging at polling stations across the country.

“PML-N’s polling agent was pushed out of the polling station in DG Khan whereas situation of the incident is available. Today’s incidents have pushed Pakistan 30 years back,” he said.
