The four-member medical board formed by the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences’ (PIMS) administration on Monday examine the medical condition of former ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and declared him normal.

The jail authorities have decided to keep Nawaz Sharif in the Adiala Jail for the time being who was likely to be shifted to the hospital earlier today.

The authorities disclosed that the decision on Nawaz Sharif’s shifting to the hospital will be made after the briefed and complete report issued by the PIMS medical board.

As per the sources, the doctors had not found indications of any serious illness. The medical board suggested Nawaz Sharif to continue the use of his previous recommended medicines. The blood and urine test of the former Prime Minister were also found to be normal.

The doctors have decided to conduct more medical tests of Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday. Nawaz Sharif has been advised by the doctors to take exercise, water and rest.
