Hussain Nawaz spends six hours in Doha, fails to meet Qatari prince

ISLAMABAD: As the six-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) tasked with probing the money trail of Sharif family’s offshore properties entered a crucial stage to conclude the report, the mystery behind authenticity of Qatari prince’s letters remains unresolved, ARY News reported.

Sensing the critical situation ahead of the JIT’s final report submission on July 10, the ruling family made an all-out effort to convince Qatari Prince Hamd bin Jassim after the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s elder son Hussain Nawaz traveled to Doha, intending to meet the prince with regard to Panamagate investigation.

However, he could not meet the prince even after spending around six hours in Doha – Qatar’s capital city – on July 6, informed sources said.

The premier’s son then left to London where he is likely to stay for two days and expected to return to Pakistan on Sunday, sources further said.
