The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Tuesday rejected the petitions filed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar against his indictment.
The IHC judge resumed hearing of the petition filed by the finance minister challenging his indictment by an anti-corruption court for possessing assets beyond his known sources of income.
During the proceedings, the IHC judge remarked that the court cannot suspend Ishaq Dar’s indictment as he has already been charged by the accountability court.
The court rejected the petitions filed by the federal minister.
The accountability court had on September 27 indicted Dar, 67, but the minister had pleaded not guilty to all charges, terming them as baseless.
