Imran Khan submitted a written apology to ECP over contempt case

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan summited a written apology to the Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday in a contempt of court case filed against him

During the hearing, ECP member Irshad Kaiser raised points on Imran’s contempt case and asked for an apology.

“We have already apologized twice,” PTI counsel Babar Awan said. again. An apology letter has been issued from Imran to the ECP. “Will your words change after an apology?,” the ECP asked Imran.

Babar also asked the ECP to resolve the matter at the earliest while reiterating that Imran “respects the law and all its institutions”.

Imran was summoned by the ECP in a contempt of court case filed against him. PTI Secretary General Jahangir Tareen, Fawad Chaudhry, and Naeemul Haque also accompanied him.
