India arrests two Kashmiri boys crossing LoC

MUZAFFARABAD: The Indian army on Tuesday arrested two teenaged Kashmiri students who inadvertently crossed the Line of Control (LoC) to enter the Indian-Occupied Kashmir.

According to sources, Wasalat and Muhammad Iftikhar – both belonging to Samari Terban Jura village in Neelum Valley of Azad Jammu and Kashmir – mistakenly entered the occupied territory while herding goats in a forest.
The boys — both 14 and studying in grade eight – crossed the LoC from Samari and were immediately taken into custody by the Indian army.

The family of the two boys have appealed to the governments of Pakistan and AJK to take up the issue with India to save their lives and educational career.
