Inzamam says Pakistan will beat India, clinch ICC Champions Trophy

LAHORE: Chief Selector Pakistan Cricket Board Inzamam-ul-Haq has insisted that Pakistan will beat India and clinch ICC Champions Trophy in England next month.

The chief selector said, the green shirts are not going just to beat arch-rival India but their prime target is to win the championship trophy.

Pakistan will face Indian in their first match on June 04, in Birminggham.

Inzamam went on to say Pakistan will leave no stones unturned and will try hard to win every match of the upcoming mega event.

Pakistan lead 2-1 over India in the Champions Trophy. The green shirts, under the captaincy of Inzamam had defeated their rivals in 2004 edition.

He said the men in green will again defeat India and with the trophy.

Meanwhile, Pakistan team has begun their practice for the game in Birmingham. The ICC’s Champions Trophy will start from June 01.
