Two days before, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the petition filed by finance minister Ishaq Dar against his indictment by accountability court regarding Panama Leaks scandal.
In his petition filed in Islamabad High Court, Dar said that accountability court cannot indict him (Ishaq Dar) until the investigation process has completed.
Counsel of Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Harris asked the court that the indictment imposed by the Accountability Court was against the law, as the court did not give us enough time to prepare the case.
Ishaq Dar requested the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to order the anti-corruption court to suspend the trial until the high court give the verdict on his petition, as he should be given time to file his response in the case.
