The judiciary is not in any kind of pressure: Chief Justice

LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar said that the judiciary is not in any kind of pressure, Samaa reported.

Addressing a function here on Saturday, the apex judge said that the judges have taken an oath to protect the constitution of the country.

“We wouldn’t have announced a verdict like that of Hudaibiya Paper Mills case if we were under any kind of pressure,” he said.

He said that there won’t be democracy in the country if there is no constitution.
