ISLAMABAD (Duny News) – On the second day of Panama Leaks case hearing, Supreme Court (SC) judge Justice Ijazul Ahsan said that we will not make decision on report submitted by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
A three-member SC bench comprising Justice Ejaz Afzal, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Ahsan resumed the hearing of Panamagate case during which SC judge said that JIT was tasked to inspect every available record.
Presenting his argument in the court, Khawaja Harris said that the court set a dimension of investigation for JIT by allowing it to find answers of only thirteen questions.
JIT included two more questions by its own, he added.
He said that the team was to review Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) record to find its relevance with London flats, adding that high court dismissed FIA’s probe afterwards.
