Kashmiris on both side observing Indian Independence Day as “Black Day”

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) are observing ‘Black Day’ as India celebrates its independence day today.

Kashmiris are observing “Black Day” in a protest to highlight India’s atrocities and illegal occupation of their land.

The people of Kashmir on both side are making an attempt to convey a message to the international community of how miserably Indian government is suppressing them and depriving them of their right of self-determination.

The Black Day is being marked by a complete shutter-down strike in the occupied territory, Kashmir Media Service reported.

The strike was announced by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
