KDA to launch anti-encroachment drive against Karachi Circular Railway today

Following the orders of the top court of the country, theKarachi Development Authorities (KDA) will start an anti-encroachment operation in Gharibabad today (Tuesday) to revive the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR).

As per the details, Karachi Development Authorities (KDA) will take steps to clear all encroachments in Gharibabad colony of Haydrabad and in surroundings of the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) track which is included in the plan of the project.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has given time to evacuate the shops of illegal furniture market constructed on the land of Karachi Circular Railway (KCR).

Earlier, Karachi Development Authorities (KDA) had initiated an anti-encroachments operation to remove the illegal constructions inside the Al Asif Square Super Highway, Empress Market and expanded the operation to demolish unplanned buildings in Kabari market and Jahangirabad.
