An important leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) KhawajaSaad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique will be produced before the Accountability Court today (Wednesday) in the Paragon Housing Society scam case.
As per the details, the anti-corruption watchdog will seek their 15-day physical remand of the Khawaja brothers.
It is pertinent here to mention that Khawaja brothers were arrested on Tuesday and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had said that former railway minister and his brother were arrested by the anti-graft body on solid evidence against them.
The NAB spokesperson said in a statement that the arrest of Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique was necessary to take the investigation against the PML-N leaders, over their alleged involvement in a multi-million dollar housing scam, to a logical end.
“Rafique brothers have been arrested for “taking financial benefits” in the Lahore s Paragon Housing Society,” he had said.
