ISLAMABAD: The co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party and former President of Pakistan Mr Asif Ali Zardari has decided to appear before Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) today (Monday) in a money laundering case against the party’s leadership.

Mr Zardari already reached Islamabad from Karachi on Sunday to appear before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Asif Ali Zardari’s sister, Faryal Talpur, will also appear before the Investigation Agency.

Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur and their associates are accused of sending Rs35 billion abroad through fake accounts after which, their names were placed on Exit Control List (ECL).
