Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif along with his daughter and son-and-law appeared before the accountability court on Tuesday as it continued to record statements of witnesses in the references filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The accountability court had granted an exemption to Nawaz Sharif from attendance until December 11, while his daughter Maryam Nawaz was exempted until December 15.
According to Express News, this was the 10th appearance of Nawaz Sharif before the court today while at least 16 hearings have so far been conducted in the Flagship Investment and Avenfield Properties cases.
The court also sought details of credit entries of Nawaz Sharif during the hearing today.
Earlier witness Yasir Shabbir recorded his statement in Azizia Steel Mills corruption reference. At least eight witnesses have already recorded their statements.
While leaving for the Punjab House from the accountability court, the former premier spoke to media representatives and announced to start a movement for the restoration of justice in the country.
