Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif answered to 47 questions, out of total 128, and will respond to remaining questions on Tuesday.
He remained in the rostrum for four hours and answered the questions.
Responding to the questions, he said that he had no connection with the Dubai Factory and Al-Azizia Mills. “I have never said that I have a connection with Avenfield Property. I did not own the bearer shares of Nelson and Nescol company and they had never been with me,” he said.
Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Safdar were also present in court.
In response to the first question, Nawaz Sharif read out the details of his public offices and said that the MLEs written by the JIT have not been presented in court. “Hence the verdict should not be pronounced on their basis,” he said.
