ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Nawaz Sharif has on Friday left the office of the prime minister.
In a statement issued by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesman, Nawaz Sharif has left the office of the Prime Minister.
The spokesman further said that Nawaz Sharif will exercise all legal remedies.
The federal cabinet has also been dissolved following the disqualification of the prime minister.
Earlier, the Supreme Court disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from office after a damning corruption probe into his family wealth, cutting short his third stint in power.
The apex court dismissed Sharif after an investigative panel alleged his family could not account for its vast wealth. The court also ordered a criminal investigation against the premier and his family.
