LAHORE: Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said on Tuesday that former Prime Minister Sharif was demanding a National Reconciliation Order (NRO) from the army.
Addressing participants of a Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) rally at Nasir Bagh, Sheikh Rasheed said that he would not stop pursuing Nawaz Sharif.
“You can go anywhere you want Nawaz Sharif, the ill wishes of people will follow you everywhere,” he added.
Sheikh Rasheed said that if anyone was killed on GT Road he would file a case against Nawaz Sharif. Rasheed told participants of the rally that he would also file a case against Sharif family in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
He blamed Nawaz Sharif for being in love with power and dragging his family as well as other relatives into accountability for his own sake.
“For the sake of power, he (Nawaz Sharif) had his father and next generation included in the trial,” he said.
