Nawaz urged Chief Justice to take notice of Imran’s claim of army’s role in 2013 polls

ISLAMABAD:  Former premier Nawaz Sharif says he is squeaky clean and has emerged victorious in the people’s court.

Speaking to reporters at the accountability court in Islamabad, he lamented that this is his 62nd appearance before the court, but those who abrogated the constitution don’t have to appear even twice in court.

He said unilateral trial proceedings against him are being conducted. There’s nothing in the cases instituted against him, he claimed.

He said the people have handed down their verdict in his favor.

Sharif said other cases pending for many years are not even being heard, but he was facing court hearings daily.
