A day before the government’s tenure is set to end, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has withdrawn the name of Nasir Mehmood Khan Khosa for the slot of Punjab’s caretaker chief minister.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed said the decision was made during a meeting chaired by party chairman Imran Khan. “We made a mistake by suggesting the name in haste,” he said.
