The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Asad Qaiser on Thursday said that Pakistan wanted an investment in various sectors from all countries including Japan on the priority basis.

“China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will provide equal opportunities of trades to regional countries and Islamabad wants Japan to benefit from this mega project,” he said during the meeting with Ambassador of Japan Takashi Kurai in Islamabad.

Mr Kuria said that Japan also wanted to further strengthen relations between the two countries in all sectors including energy.

He said that Japan would continue its cooperation with Pakistan for its economic development especially in areas of energy, education and information technology.
