AUCKLAND: Putting up a strong fight, Pakistan won the second T20 International on Thursday against New Zealand after posting a competitive 202-run target at Eden Park here.
The win is Green Shirts’ first T20I victory on this gloomy tour, leveling the three-match T20 series at 1-1.
The victory has also thwarted high-flying Kiwis from inflicting another clean sweep in the T20I series after a 5-0 whitewash in One Day International (ODI) series.
New Zealand batting line-up began to crumble after Mohammad Amir dismissed Colin Munro for 1 and Rumman Raees took the wicket of skipper Kane Williamson.
The black caps were merely at 64 when half of its team was in the pavilion.
