Kashmiris on both sides of the line of control as well as living around the world are observing the 71st Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan Day today (Thursday).

The people of Kashmir are committed to continuing the struggle until achieving the self-determination right and the accession of the whole state of Kashmir to Pakistan.

The people of Kashmir on both sides of the border observe this day to celebrate the resolution adopted at the platform of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference in Srinagar on 19th July 1947 which demands the accession of Kashmir state to Pakistan.

Raja Farooq Haider, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir had directed the commissioners and deputy commissioners to observe this historical day with national fondness and passion to convey a strong message to the international community that without the accession of Kashmir to it, Pakistan is incomplete.

The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has announced a public holiday today. Rallies, seminar, and various functions will be held across the state to emphasize the importance of the day. The key function to celebrate the day will be arranged in the city of Muzaffarabad.
