JHELUM: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that people of Pakistan can never vote for “cowards” like Imran Khan who take “orders from the top”, ARY News reported.

Addressing a party rally in Jhelum city of Punjab province, Nawaz Sharif took a dig at political rival Imran Khan by saying that he broke all principals by sharing stage with his opponent Zardari during January’s Mall Road sit-in and then showed cowardice by taking “orders from top” while voting for Senate chairman and deputy chairman slots in March.

“People will never vote for you for you are a coward.. if you have courage, contest against us honestly.. don’t take directions from the top,” said Nawaz while talking about Imran Khan.
