PIMS staff has given a three-day deadline to government to fulfill demands

The protest of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) doctors and paramedical staff has on Monday entered the eighth day as patients continue to suffer.

According to details, PIMS employees are demanding to separate the hospital from the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University. The staff has given a three-day deadline to the government to approve amendments in the bill.

The doctors have also threatened to completely shut down the hospital and stop emergency service as well if their demands are not fulfilled.
