PM Imran Khan decided to expand Federal Cabinet after the presidential election

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has decided to expand the Federal Cabinet after the upcoming presidential election in the country.

Sources privy to the situation said that the PM Imran Khan has decided that a Senator would also be inducted as a minister in the next phase of Federal Cabinet expansion.

Senator Azam Swati is expected to get the portfolio of Minister for Science and Technology while Member National Assembly Ali Zaidi will be inducted as Marine Affairs Minister and Member National Assembly Ali Amin Gandapur is also expected to be inducted as minister.

Currently, the 25-member federal cabinet consists of 16 federal ministers, one state minister, five advisers to the Prime Minister and three special assistants to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
